I have been mentioning in Inspirational messages for quite some time now that the Lord has instructed me to begin a series on spiritual warfare. Well, this is just the beginning.

Spiritual warfare is something that every Believer needs to have training in, because our enemy WILL bring it to you. ( John 16:33)

Yet it is a subject that so many people don’t touch. I think I know the reason why… Whenever the Lord has instructed people to research the subject, grow in knowledge about it and hear from the Holy Spirit about it, the enemy will ALWAYS launch an all out war against that Believer.

I know this because that is what has happened to me. That is what I have been busy with the last few months. When the Holy Spirit started instructing me to start writing about this subject, literally my whole world went absolutely haywire!

People often get so busy in this war that they can’t find the time to continue the study, learning, writing and teaching about it. Well, the devil and his crowd picked on the wrong King’s Kid this time! My Jesus said that He has conquered the enemy and that those who believe in Him are more than conquerors through Him.

John 16:33 AMP “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]”

He has also said “Behold, I (Christ) have given you authority and power… and physical and mental strength and ability over all the power that the enemy possesses, and nothing shall in any way harm you.”
(Luke 10:19)

I have taken Him at His Word. If you are serious about taking Him at His Word, you can have the victory as well. Remember, this is a constant battle that will end when He returns. Until then, we can grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and learn of Him; making the shelter of His presence our dwelling place.

If you are serious about being victorious, there are some things you can do starting right now.

Get alone with God on a regular basis to spend time with Him– to pray, worship and to hear from Him.

Always, always stay in the Word of God. Each and every day, pray to put on the whole armor of God according to Ephesians 6:10-18 (if you will look closely, there doesn’t seem to be one part of this armor or the instructions that is geared for retreat and defeat – only offence and advance).

Plead the Blood of Jesus over you, your mate and your loved ones.

Also, there are several books that will help explain some things– the book by Joyce Meyer “The Battlefield of the Mind” and the one by Derek Prince “Lucifer Exposed” will help. There are other books as well but these two are in my personal library of helpful tools.

Be very careful about what you read. The enemy has so infiltrated our camp that we have to make sure that everything we take into our minds is backed up by the Word of God.

I am including a prayer about spiritual warfare written by Mr. Victor Matthews. I printed it off and have been praying it constantly since someone sent it to me back in 2007. It has helped me gain and maintain victorious living.

Also, I would like for you to pray with me right now:
“Our most Gracious Lord, Thank you that you have loved us enough to conquer the enemy and that you have given us enough of Your power and authority to do so here on earth. I pray that every one that is reading this right now come to know you as their personal Lord and Savior.

I also pray that everyone that is reading this will take You at Your Word and trust You to lead them in this spiritual warfare in our daily lives.. Lord, I know you will keep on helping me. I also know the enemy will continue to give his all to keep me from being obedient to You and writing what you want me to write about. But, You are the strong man that has shown the enemy who is in charge!! (Lk. 11:21-22)

I put my trust in You. Lord, I continue to ask the prayer of Psalm 143: 8-10 “Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in You. Show me the way I should go, for to You I lift up my soul. Rescue me from my enemies, O Lord, for I hide myself in You. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”

This we pray in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

WARFARE PRAYER

by Victor Matthews
(This is a most powerful prayer. I would encourage you to print it out and pray through it often.)

Heavenly Father, I bow in worship and praise before you. I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as my protection. I surrender myself completely and unreservedly in every area of my life to You. I take a stand against all the workings of Satan that would hinder me in my prayer life. I address myself only to the True and Living God and refuse any involvement of Satan in my prayer.

Satan, I command you, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, to leave my presence with all your demons I bring the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ between us.

Heavenly Father, I worship You and give You praise. I recognize that You are worthy to receive all glory and honor and praise. I renew my allegiance to You and pray that the blessed Holy Spirit would enable me in this time of prayer. I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that You have loved me from past eternity and that You sent the Lord Jesus Christ into the world to die as my substitute.

I am thankful that the Lord Jesus Christ came as my representative and that through Him You have completely forgiven me; You have adopted me into your family; You have assumed all responsibility for me; You have given me eternal life; You have given me the perfect righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ so I am now justified. I am thankful that in Him, you have made me complete, and that You have offered Yourself to me to be my daily help and strength.

Heavenly Father, open my eyes that I might see how great You are and how complete Your provision is for this day. I am thankful that the victory the Lord Jesus Christ won for me on the Cross and in His resurrection has been given to me and that I am seated with the Lord Jesus Christ in the heavenlies. I take my place with Him in the heavenlies and recognize by faith that all wicked spirits and Satan himself are under my feet. I declare, therefore, that Satan and his wicked spirits are subject to me in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am thankful for the Armor You have provided. I put on the Girdle of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Sandals of Peace and the Helmet of Salvation. I lift up the Shield of Faith against all the fiery darts of the enemy; and I take in my hand the Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God. I choose to use Your Word against all the forces of evil in my life. I put on this Armor and live and pray in complete dependence upon You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I am grateful, Heavenly Father, that the Lord Jesus Christ spoiled all principalities and powers and made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in Himself. I claim all that victory for my life today. I reject all the insinuations, and accusations, and the temptations of Satan. I affirm that the Word of God is true and I choose to live today in the light of God’s Word.

I choose, Heavenly Father, to live in obedience to You and in fellowship with Yourself. Open my eyes and show me the areas of my life that do not please You. Work in me to cleanse me from all ground that would give Satan a foothold against me. I do in every way stand into all that it means to be Your adopted child and I welcome all the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

By faith and in dependence upon You, I put off the fleshly works of the old man and stand into all the victory of the crucifixion where the Lord Jesus Christ provided cleansing from the old nature. I put on the new man and stand into all the victory of the resurrection and the provision He has made for me to live above sin.

Therefore, today I put off all forms of selfishness and put on the new nature with its love. I put off all forms of fear and put on the new nature with its courage. I put off all forms of weakness and put on the new nature with its strength. I put off all forms of lust and put on the new nature with its righteousness, purity, and honesty. I am trusting You to show me how to make this practical in my daily life.

In every way I stand into the victory of the ascension and glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ, whereby all the principalities and powers were made subject to Him. I claim my place in Christ as victorious with Him over all the enemies of my soul. Blessed Holy Spirit, I pray that You would fill me. Come into my life, break down every idol and cast out every foe.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, for the expression of Your will for my daily life as You have shown me in Your Word.
I, therefore, claim all the will of God for today. I am thankful that You have blessed me with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am thankful that You have begotten me unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

I am thankful that You have made a provision so that today I can live filled with the Spirit of God with love and joy and peace, with long-suffering, gentleness and goodness, with meekness, faithfulness and self-control in my life. I recognize that this is Your will for me and I therefore reject and resist all the endeavors of Satan and his wicked spirits to rob me of the will of god. I refuse in this day to believe my feelings and I hold up the Shield of Faith against all the accusations and distortion and insinuations that Satan would put into my mind. I claim the fullness of the will of God for my life today.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I completely surrender myself to You, Heavenly Father, as a living sacrifice. I choose not to be conformed to this world. I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind, and I pray that You would show me Your will and enable me to walk in all the fullness of Your will today.

I am thankful, Heavenly Father, that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, to the casting down of imagination and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge God, and to bring every thought into obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, in my own life today I tear down the strongholds of Satan and smash the plans of Satan that have been formed against me. I tear down the strongholds of Satan against my mind, and I surrender my mind to You, blessed Holy Spirit.

I affirm, Heavenly Father, that You have not given me the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love and of a sound mind. I break and smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my emotions today and I give my emotions to you. I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my will today, I give my will to You and choose to make the right decisions of faith.

I smash the strongholds of Satan formed against my body today, I give my body to You recognizing that I am your temple. I rejoice in Your mercy and goodness.

Heavenly Father, I pray that now and through this day You would strengthen and enlighten me. Show me the way Satan is hindering and tempting and lying and distorting the truth in my life. Enable me to be the kind of person that would please You. Enable me to be aggressive in prayer and faith. Enable me to be aggressive mentally, to think about and practice Your Word, and to give You Your rightful place in my life.

Again, I cover myself with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and pray that You, blessed Holy Spirit, would bring all the work of the crucifixion, all the work of the resurrection, all the work of the glorification, and all the work of Pentecost into my life today. I surrender myself to You. I refuse to be discouraged.

You are the God of all hope. You have proven Your power by resurrecting Jesus Christ from the dead, and I claim in every way this victory over all the satanic forces in my life.

I pray in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Amen.

It’s great to live a life doing the will of God. It’s also a super feeling to wake up each day and see what new thing God has in store for our lives. I hate the feeling of having a lump in my throat because I haven’t been completely obedient to God or because there is some (hidden) sin in my life.

Robbie Goodwin sent me the following quote:

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning, satan shudders & says…

“Oh no…. he’s awake!!”

This is a fun way to live life.

I once went up to a remote mountain village and… since I get up with the roosters early in the morning, I decided to put the above quote into practice.

At 5:00 am I went outside and shouted “Look out Satan… I’m Up”

Needless to say, Everyone else woke up to find out what the commotion was all about. After wiping the sleep from their eyes everyone got a good laugh out of my crazy antics.

I’ve matured a little since that time and now I try to respect others a little more in the morning but I have to ask.

Do you have peace?

Are you a threat to the devil?

or are you still living a life of slumber?

Walking in the will of God is exciting! One of the biggest benefits to doing God’s will is the Peace that Christ gives us.

It’s also exciting to keep the satan on the lookout for you.

Sure you may get attacked by satan, If he’s not attacking you with tempatations, trials and problems, maybe it’s because you aren’t doing anything for God.

Every Sunday, I purposely set aside some extra special time to spend with the Lord. I get the 3 translations of the Bible that I have (Amplified, NIV Scofield Reference Edition and the King James versions) and all the prayers that I have typed up and printed off. I also keep a printed copy of the visions given to me and the promises and scriptures that I have been guided to by the Holy Spirit. Part of my aggressive spiritual warfare, against the enemy of our soul, is to remind him and read out loud the promises, scriptures and visions from the One who has defeated him and won for us the victory! Glory!

Jeremiah 29:11-14

“ For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon Me, and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear and listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all our heart. I will be found by you”, declares the Lord.

On Good Friday, April 10, 2009, I was once again directed to this scripture. I love it and it has been one of my favorite scriptures my whole life. I also know, whenever the Holy Spirit brings it to my mind, the Lord is getting ready to bring a mighty move in my life.

The following Sunday was Easter. During my special praise, prayer and worship with the Lord, I was reading in all four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) the scriptures and events leading up to the crucifixion of our Lord. I was directed to Luke 21:34-36.

Here Christ is speaking to His followers about things to come.

“ Be careful and be on guard or your hearts will be weighted down, overburdened, depressed with headaches and nausea, of self-indulgence, drunkenness, the anxieties of life or the worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of this life” (Does this sound like most of us at some time or another during or life? I have so been there.) Jesus goes on to say “that day will close on you unexpectedly like a trap.”

“Always be on watch (be discreet, attentive and ready) praying that you may have the full strength and ability to escape what is about to happen or take place and to stand before the Son of Man.”

The Lord has plans for us. The defeated enemy of our soul also has plans for us. Christ is telling us how to always listen for His voice and hear Him. He has all knowledge and knows what is about to happen to us. He also knows what we need to do to get through and sometimes totally avoid what is headed our way. The enemy of our soul is always trying to keep us in a position to where we cannot hear the voice of the Lord because we are so weighted down with the junk that he has for us. The result is always the same: things close in on us and we are caught in the enemy’s trap.

I asked the Lord what He means in this passage that we may be able “to stand before the Son of Man”. The answer that I heard is this: Jesus gives us the ability and the strength to overcome the power of the enemy. We receive it from Him by spending time with Him and being in His presence. (“Be strong in the Lord, be empowered through your union with Him; draw your strength from Him, that strength which His boundless might provides.” Ephesians 6:10 AMP.)

If we are abiding in the secret place of the Most High, we can always hear His voice. It is when we are letting the enemy get into our heads and letting the busyness of this life occupy our thoughts, actions and decisions that we get ourselves into trouble and miss what the Lord is trying to say and do for us. When we allow the enemy and what he has to offer a place in our lives, his noise is screaming louder in our ears than the Lord is in our hearts. Jesus let us know that we can get the enemy out and prohibit his entrance in the first place.

Jesus is letting us know that what He did on the cross was more than what we realize. He gave Satan the final blow that sealed his destiny. Christ is totally victorious and freely gives that same victory to all those that believe in Him.

“Behold! I (Christ) have given you authority and power…and the physical and mental strength and ability over all the power the enemy possesses, and nothing shall in any way harm you.” (Luke 10:19 AMP)

Greetings in the Lord!

In a previous writing, I wrote MY Purpose part 1. I am working on My Purpose part 2. In order for you to understand what I keep talking about, when I reference that my husband and I are in our wilderness place, I thought you probably should read the article that I wrote back in 2006.

When I first started writing online, I was doing a Daily Inspiration writing. This is what I shared with everyone as the Daily Inspiration for Friday, August 18, 2006. Maybe it will explain our Wilderness Place. Many of you may be in your wilderness place, back in “Egypt” or even in your “Promised Land”. Well, it is now October 2008 and we are still in our wilderness place. There has been a lot that God has had to deal with us about. More things than I could ever imagine in the farthest stretch of my human imagination.

It is beyond words, how much more free I feel because of all the baggage that has been taken away from our lives. Soaring with eagles’ wings is a good feeling. I desire this for you as well. Please be encouraged when you are being refined like silver in the Refiners fire. It is hurtful for the moment but when we come through we can be like those in Isaiah 40:31: “But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.”

Hope you enjoy this writing and may you soar and fly!:

Deuteronomy 28-31.

The Lord is doing some amazing things in my husband’s and my life. I compare our lives to the children of the children Israel when God led them out of Egypt, in the wilderness and then into the Promised Land. Alabama was our Egypt. There is nothing wrong with Alabama. I was born and raised there. My husband Terry was raised there as well. We met and married in 1976, lived there for several years after we married and 2 of our 3 children were born there. We spent over 20 years there and it was a place that God never intended for us to be. He took us out once and we came back to “Egypt” when He wanted us to stay in North Carolina. We didn’t realize that at that time but we know it now. He had a plan for our lives then. He still does. Phil. 1:6 says,” Be confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will complete it.” God is so faithful. The work that He started all those years ago, He is now in the process of completing in our lives. He patiently waited on us to get to the place in our lives that we were ready to listen.

He has brought us here to our “wilderness” place to do His work in us. The wilderness place in a person’s life is where God cleanses a person, removes all traces of Egypt. Everything and everyone that is familiar isn’t there anymore. What used to work and has always worked in the past won’t work anymore. The same old bag of tricks that you can pull stuff out of a hat and still make it through won’t work anymore. God brings you to the point that all you have to rely on is Him. He wants to remove anything and everything in our lives that would possibly hinder us from totally 100% relying on and depending on Him.

We have come so far. Neither Terry nor myself realized how much we depended on other things and not on God until He brought us here and started working on us. Let me tell you, it has not been an easy ride either! But, Glory to God, Christ be Praised!!! It is a life that I can’t even begin to describe when you get to the point that you realize that God is all that you need. Christ is the Truth, He tells the Truth so we can believe everything without question that is said in His Word because He is the Word!

Now you know why God has led me to start the Daily Inspiration ministry to others. We definitely have a story to tell from our personal experiences with Him. If you belong to Him you have a story to tell, too. After all, that is what it is all about- accepting Christ, living totally for God, following the Holy Spirit’s guidance and telling others about Him.

We are not quite ready yet to go to the “Promised Land” that God has prepared for us. Remember the “Promised Land” is the place that God wants you to be in His perfect plan for your life; whether it be an actual move to another place, as it is with us, a job change, a change in what you are doing, another church home, some form of ministry or work that He wants you to do for Him or something that He wants to teach or reveal to you. This is so that He can refine you, teach you what He wants you to know, get every bit of Egypt out of you, get you out of your comfort zone and stop depending on the familiar and totally depend on Him.

Like He did with the children of Israel, when we are ready, God takes us to that Promised Land place to Bless Us!! When Egypt is gone from us and all we need is Him, then God takes us to our Promised Land. There is more to it though…we have to possess it. If God didn’t prepare us like this, we wouldn’t be able to possess the blessings and handle them. It would be too overwhelming and we would fall again. We also have to continue to look to Him totally or we will fall again right back to the Egypt place and loose our blessings and be in bondage again.

Terry and I are not quite ready for our Promised Land but God has let us know enough about it that we are anxiously looking forward to possessing it! I have spend the last 6 days in prayer and fasting, being taught in His Word and hearing from Him. I know and declare with all that is within me that He does what He says and having unquenchable faith in Him is all that we need because He is all that we need.

In His Service,

We have all kinds of wonderful benefits that are here for us – Health Insurance, Dental and Vision Insurance, Short term and Long term disability Insurance, Stock purchase options, 401K and other retirement plans. All of these things will only be of a benefit to those that choose to take advantage of them. God Himself has a benefit package for His children. Just like the benefit package that employers offer, we need to choose to take advantage of what He is offering us for God’s Benefit Package to be of benefit to us. Some of the benefits are listed in

Psalm 103. Let’s go over those listed here:

Psalm 103:
V. 1-He forgives all our sins.
V. 2-He heals all our diseases.
V. 3-He redeems our lives from destruction.
V. 4-He crowns us with loving-kindness and tender mercies.
V. 5-He satisfies our mouths with good things so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
V. 6-He executes righteousness and judgment for us against oppression. He sets us free.
V. 7-He makes known His ways to us.
V. 8-He gives us His grace and mercy in times of need.
V.10 & 11–He hasn’t dealt with us according to our sins but as high as the heaven is above the earth, that’s how great His mercy is toward those that fear Him.
V. 12- As far as the east is from the west, that ‘s how far He has removed our transgressions from us.
V.13 & 14- As a father takes pity on his children, so the Lord does to those that love Him. For he knows and remembers that we are just made of dust.
V.17-18- But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting and His righteousness extends even unto our children’s children, to those that keep His covenant and remembers to do His commandments.
V. 19-The Lord has prepared His throne in heaven and His kingdom rules over all (We are part of His kingdom).
V. 20- His angels, mighty in strength, do His commandments, listening to the voice of His word. “He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. They shall bear you up in their hands, so that you don’t even dash your foot against a stone.” Ps. 91:11-12 Also,
Ps. 34:7. says “ The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, who revere and worship Him with awe, and each one of them He delivers.” This is no small thing. Having an angel protect us is a great blessing and benefit.

There are so many benefits in God’s Benefit package that I could literally write chapters on them. Here are but just a few of the many items in God’s Benefit Package:

He cares about us and wants to exalt us if we will humble ourselves under His mighty hand.I Pet.5:6&7: ‘Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”

He gives us good things to think about. Phil.4:8With Him we can do all things. Phil.4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

He supplies all of our needs. Phil.4:19 “But my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

How did God say that our needs would be supplied? Through Christ Jesus. Jesus said in John 14: 13&14 “You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father…” (More on asking and receiving, faith and believing at a later time. God is giving me a whole chapter to write on this subject.)

Luke 6:38 “Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down and shaken together and running over shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete (or give), it shall be measured to you again.”All things are possible with God. Matt. 19:26 ” with men this is impossible but with God all things are possible.”
In Deuteronomy 28, the whole chapter is about what God will do if we “harken diligently unto the voice of the Lord God to observe and do His commandments”.
v. 1 God will set ups high above all the nations of the earth.
v. 2 All these blessings will actually chase us down and overtake us!
v. 3 We will be blessed wherever we go- in the city or in the country.
v. 4 Our children, our bodies and all that we have that is alive will be blessed.
v. 5 We will have plenty of food.
v. 6 Blessed we will be when we come in and when we go out.
v. 7 The Lord will cause our enemies (anyone that is against us) to be defeated before our face; they will come out against us one way and flee before us seven ways. If you are living for the Lord, there will be those that are against you.
v. 8 The Lord will actually command His blessings upon us in our storage places (such as bank accounts, savings accounts, etc.) and in all (not some but all) that we undertake.
v. 9 God will establish us as a Holy people-set apart to Himself! (Can you imagine this? I’m excited!)
v. 10 All people that know us will see that we are called by the name and in the presence of the Lord and will be afraid to mess with us! (In our evil world system today, this is a big deal.)
v. 11 Not only will we have prosperity but this verse says that we will have a surplus of prosperity.
v. 12 The Lord not only will open to us His treasury, but this verse says He will give us His good
treasury! We will have rain when we need it, and all the work of our hands will be blessed! We will lend and not borrow! Read that one again-lend and not borrow!
v. 13 We will be the head and not the tail; we will be above only and not beneath, if we heed the Lord’s commandments.

Are you excited yet? We can enjoy these benefits everyday starting right now! Regardless of what the world’s economy looks like, God has His own economic package. Wow! I understand His retirement plan is out of this world, too!
In His Service,
I read somewhere that you pay God a compliment by asking great things of Him. Have you asked God for anything great lately? We all love compliments. What happens when we receive a sincere compliment? It makes us want to do more and try harder to please the one that appreciates us enough to give… [Continue Reading]

We all love compliments. What happens when we receive a sincere compliment?

It makes us want to do more and try harder to please the one that appreciates us enough to give the compliment. Our God loves us. Give Him a compliment. On September 03, 2008, my husband Terry and I will celebrate 32 years of marriage together. I would like to share with all of you a prayer that I wrote for him on July 7, 2006. Marriage is something that many people do not take seriously in our present society today. I would like to share with all of you a prayer that I wrote for him on July 7, 2006. Marriage is something that many people do not take seriously in our present society today. However, God changes not and He has always held marriage to be a blessed and sacred union.

Marraige

As I have shared with you, we are in our wilderness place. We have really, really experienced first hand just how fierce the enemy can come against God’s people. Remember that our warfare is “not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers against rulers of darkness in this present world”. My husband and I know this because of all the things that have happened to us and have come against us. I have gotten to the point that I can see with Spirit eyes and discern just what is at work behind every conversation and thing that happens in mine and my husband’s life. I pray that you will seek His will and His ways to be able to do the same thing in your own lives and marriages. What He does for us, He will do for you. Only ask and believe. “…According to your faith and trust and reliance on the power invested in Me, be it done to you.” Matt. 9:29

God has always had a plan. That plan has not changed. The enemy of our soul has been so successful in diverting our attention down through time that most of us don’t realize just what that plan really is. If we can just “get it” and get a hold on His plan for unity between a husband and a wife, there is no stopping God’s plan through them. The enemy of our soul knows this; he just doesn’t want people to realize and know this. I get it. It is my heart’s desire for everyone else to get it, too. God is working on me to write a book in the future about His plan for unity and oneness between a husband and a wife. There is power in this union and oneness. Please pray for me that this book will be completed in God’s timing. Please pray for Terry and me that our marriage will be strong and God’s hand of protection remain around us.

I encourage you to print this prayer and substitute your spouse’s name in place of my husband’s name. If you will truly give God your mate and pray for them and for yourself the way He intended for us to do, incredible results will happen.

For My Husband Terry

Terry, I pray for God’s protection upon your heart- the one that beats and the one that feels, your life, health, finances, your soul and your mind. That He will shield you from the lies of the enemy or our soul and that you can clearly discern between God’s voice and any other voice.

Sweetheart, it is my heart’s desire that you will be able to see yourself as I see you and as God sees you. You have been given so many unique qualities and gifts that make up your personality. I appreciate them so much and pray that you will appreciate them the way that I do. Know that I trust you and I have trusted God completely with you and only hope that you will come to have as much confidence in yourself as I have in you.

I pray that God will open doors for you that no man can shut; that the work of your hands will be blessed and bring prosperity and great fulfillment as God has promised. “Be confident of this very thing, that He which has begun a good work in you will complete it” Phil. 1:6.

Honey, please remember the scripture that the Lord personally gave you on April 13, 2006: “Behold, I (Christ) have given you authority and power…and physical and mental strength and ability over all the power that the enemy possesses, and nothing shall in any way harm you” Luke 10:19.

By that power and authority, I command that all thoughts from the enemy be removed from my husband’s mind because Terry Goodwin has the mind of Christ. May Terry constantly live in clarity with absolutely no confusion in his mind, because God is not the author of confusion but of power, love and a sound mind. Lord, help Terry to see the power that you offer him access to and help him to learn how to use it just like you are showing me how to use it.

Lord, make Terry strong where the enemy perceives weakness and help him to rise above and conquer anything that erects itself as a stronghold in his life. Establish a wall of protection around, above and below him. Continue to set Your angels charge over his care as You have promised in Your Word (Ps. 91). Fill Terry up so full of Your Spirit that there is no room for anything that is not of you.

You have said to call upon You in our trouble and You will deliver us (Ps. 50:15). I call upon You now to work deliverance in my husband’s life. Deliver Terry from anything that binds him. Deliver him from depression, anxiety, fear, the enemy of his soul, temptation, financial problems, hurts from the past, stress, health problems and anything else that may ever try to bind him in any way.

Lord, I pray that You would protect our marriage from anything that would harm or destroy it. Shield our marriage from the evil plans and desires of others, from dangerous situations, from financial ruin, or anything else that poses a threat to our marriage. May there never be any thoughts of divorce or separation in either of our hearts. Give us a passion and an unquenchable desire for each other that is stronger than it has ever been. Please set us free from anything from the past-whether it be hurts, bad memories, financial mistakes, or anything else that would dampen or hinder our future.

God, let absolutely nothing be allowed to come into our hearts or our lives that would threaten our marriage in any way. I pray that we will be so committed to Your ways, Lord, that our commitment to each other will not waver, no matter what comes against us; that we will only cling tighter to one another. I pray that our love for each other will only grow stronger with each passing day. Continue to help me, Lord, to be the wife that Terry needs. Show me how to communicate love to him in ways that he needs it. Please keep teaching me when to speak, what to say and when to just shut up and leave it with You, Lord. Bring more and more unity between us, making us one in everything we do; not separate or independent in any way. This prevents the enemy of our souls from ever driving a wedge between us again.

I claim Deuteronomy 28 over our lives: that we will be will be blessed when we come in and when we go out, everything that we set our hands to do will prosper, our enemies (anyone that is against us) will be defeated before us and will flee before us 7 different ways, that we will be a holy people set apart for You, we will be the head and not the tail, we will always have a bounty of food and things to eat, your blessings will chase us down and overtake us, our barns (our bank accounts and other storage places) will be filled, we will lend and not borrow all the rest of the days of our lives, that our children and grandchildren will be blessed.

I claim Psalm 91, Your words of protection, over Terry and his household. Raise Terry Goodwin up to take his rightful place as the mighty man that you have planned for him to be and as the wise head of his household. Restore seven fold the years the locusts have eaten. Let him know that he is, has been and will continue to be a wonderful Dad that is very loved by his children.

Dear Lord, I am so thankful and know that I am the most blessed woman alive because You have loved me enough to have given me the privilege of being Terry Goodwin’s wife and his mate. I thank you, God, for giving me this opportunity and giving me this as my reward and my portion in this life.

This is my prayer, in Jesus’ Name,

AMEN.

Terry, I am your loving wife for all eternity, Love, Robbie

In His Service,

Robbie Goodwin

Wow! In our crazy world today, there are very few things with an absolute guarantee. I do not know of anything that is guaranteed like this. Hope is an anchor that will not break down, it’s free of defects and comes with a warranty that is backed up by God Himself!
Are you ready for something that is real and will not disappoint you and can take anything that we can throw at it? Hope comes with a guarantee that is out of this world! After all, He is the God of all hope. (Romans 15:13)
