There is music playing in the City of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas. Call it revival or at least call it special. It’s a grand concert with over 150 Pastors from local churches actually coming together in unity and meeting monthly in large gatherings. For the past few months, Pastor Jorge, whom I work with has been leading these mass gatherings in the city’s Municipal Auditorium called the Polyforum.
We’ve had some special guests who ministered. Among these were many Christian musicians, Jesse & Laura Rojas, Pastor Bruce Dumond and… our daughter Cristi.
Yes, Cristi has ministered in the Polyforum playing the guitar and in song a few times.
One evening as she ministered using a soundtrack Cristi had to face a trial – As she was singing, the music stopped.
My question to you is “What do you do when the music stops?”
Here’s how to find the answer to that question.
1. Scroll Down to watch the video below.
2. Read the rest of this article here: http://www.reallifesuccess.com/when-music-stops
3.Download this months missions newsletter: July 2011 Newsletter (45)
4. Be encouraged because there is hope:
Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. James 1:2-5
This Compilation of Videos From SM Lockridge , Aaron Jeoffrey and an 11 Year old Kid reveals King Jesus in the Bible -
I’ve heard the words included in this article and have often loved them because of the manner in which they exalt our King Jesus using descriptive praises and Biblical verses.
Here’s 3 Videos (along with lyrics) about “King Jesus” that are sure to warm your heart and give you goosebumps… and just imagine how Satan feels when he hears these chilling words of truth.
If you don’t have time to watch them all , scroll down to where the 11 year boy delivers the powerful message.
My King was born King.
The Bible says He’s a Seven Way King.
He’s the King of the Jews – that’s a racial King.
He’s the King of Israel – that’s a National King.
He’s the King of righteousness.
He’s the King of the ages.
He’s the King of Heaven.
He’s the King of glory.
He’s the King of kings and He is the Lord of lords.
Now that’s my King.
Well I wonder if you know Him.
Do you know Him?
Don’t try to mislead me.
Do you know my King?
David said the Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament show His handiwork.
My King is the only one whom there are no means of measure can define His limitless love.
No far seeing telescope can bring into visibility the coastline of His shore of supplies.
No barriers can hinder Him from pouring out His blessing.
Well, well, He’s enduringly strong.
He’s entirely sincere.
He’s eternally steadfast.
He’s immortally graceful.
He’s imperially powerful.
He’s impartially merciful.
That’s my King.
He’s God’s Son.
He’s the sinner’s saviour.
He’s the centrepiece of civilization.
He stands alone in Himself.
He’s august.
He’s unique.
He’s unparalleled.
He’s unprecedented.
He’s supreme.
He’s pre-eminent.
Well, He’s the loftiest idea in literature.
He’s the highest personality in philosophy.
He’s the supreme problem in high criticism.
He’s the fundamental doctrine of proved theology.
He’s the carnal necessity of spiritual religion.
That’s my King.
He’s the miracle of the age.
He’s the superlative of everything good that you choose to call Him.
Well, He’s the only one able to supply all of our needs simultaneously.
He supplies strength for the weak.
He’s available for the tempted and the tried.
He sympathizes and He saves.
He’s strong God and He guides.
He heals the sick.
He cleanses the lepers.
He forgives sinners.
He discharged debtors.
He delivers the captives.
He defends the feeble.
He blesses the young.
He serves the unfortunate.
He regards the aged.
He rewards the diligent and He beautifies the meek.
Do you know Him?
Well, my King is the key of knowledge.
He’s the wellspring of wisdom.
He’s the doorway of deliverance.
He’s the pathway of peace.
He’s the roadway of righteousness.
He’s the highway of holiness.
He’s the gateway of glory.
He’s the master of the mighty.
He’s the captain of the conquerors.
He’s the head of the heroes.
He’s the leader of the legislatures.
He’s the overseer of the overcomers.
He’s the governor of governors.
He’s the prince of princes.
He’s the King of kings and He’s the Lord of lords.
That’s my King.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That’s my King.
My King, yeah.
His office is manifold.
His promise is sure.
His light is matchless.
His goodness is limitless.
His mercy is everlasting.
His love never changes.
His Word is enough.
His grace is sufficient.
His reign is righteous.
His yoke is easy and His burden is light.
Well.
I wish I could describe Him to you, but He’s indescribable.
He’s indescribable.
Yes.
He’s incomprehensible.
He’s invincible.
He’s irresistible.
I’m coming to tell you, the heavens of heavens cannot contain Him, let alone a man explaining Him.
You can’t get Him out of your mind.
You can’t get Him off of your hands.
You can’t outlive Him and you can’t live without Him.
Well, Pharisees couldn’t stand Him, but they found out they couldn’t stop Him.
Pilot couldn’t find any fault in Him.
The witnesses couldn’t get their testimonies to agree.
Herod couldn’t kill Him.
Death couldn’t handle Him and the grave couldn’t hold Him.
That’s my King.
Yeah.
He always has been and He always will be.
I’m talking about He had no predecessor and He’ll have no successor.
There was nobody before Him and there’ll be nobody after Him.
You can’t impeach Him and He’s not going to resign.
That’s my King!
That’s my King!
Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory.
Well, all the power belongs to my King.
We’re around here talking about black power and white power and green power, but it’s God’s power.
Thine is the power.
Yeah.
And the glory.
We try to get prestige and honour and glory for ourselves, but the glory is all His.
Yes.
Thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory, forever and ever and ever and ever.
How long is that?
And ever and ever and ever and ever.
And when you get through with all of the forevers, then, Amen.

He always was, He always is, and He always will be…
Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone!
He was bruised and brought healing!
He was pierced and eased pain!
He was persecuted and brought freedom!
He was dead and brought life!
He is risen and brings power!
He reigns and brings Peace!
The world can’t understand him,
The armies can’t defeat Him,
The schools can’t explain Him, and
The leaders can’t ignore Him.
Herod couldn’t kill Him,
The Pharisees couldn’t confuse Him, and
The people couldn’t hold Him!
Nero couldn’t crush Him,
Hitler couldn’t silence Him,
The New Age can’t replace Him, and
Donahue can’t explain Him away!
He is light, love, longevity, and Lord.
He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God.
He is Holy, Righteous, mighty, powerful, and pure.
His ways are right, His word is eternal,
His will is unchanging, and His mind is on me.
He is my Redeemer, He is my Savior,
He is my guide, and He is my peace!
He is my Joy, He is my comfort,
He is my Lord, and He rules my life!
I serve Him because His bond is love,
His burden is light, and His goal for me is abundant life.
I follow Him because He is:
the wisdom of the wise,
the Power of the powerful,
the Ancient of days,
the Ruler of rulers,
the Leader of leaders,
the Overseer of the overcomers, and
the Sovereign Lord of all that was and is and is to come.
And if that seems impressive to you, try this for size:
His goal is a relationship with me!
He will never leave me,
never forsake me,
never mislead me,
never forget me,
never overlook me,
and never cancel my appointment in His appointment book!
When I fall, He lifts me up!
When I fail, He forgives!
When I am weak, He is strong!
When I am lost, He is the way!
When I am afraid, He is my courage!
When I stumble, He steadies me!
When I am hurt, He heals me!
When I am broken, He mends me!
When I am blind, He leads me!
When I am hungry, He feeds me!
When I face trials, He is with me!
When I face persecution, He shields me!
When I face problems, He comforts me!
When I face loss, He provides for me!
When I face death, He carries me Home!
He is everything for everybody, everywhere, every time, and every way.
He is God, He is faithful.
I am His, and He is mine!
My Father in heaven can whip the father of this world!
So, if you’re wondering why I feel so secure, know and understand this . . .
God said it and that settles it. God is in control, I am on His side, and that means all is
well with my soul.
Everyday is a blessing because God is!
My friend Jesse Rojas posted these 10 New Years Resolutions to his Facebook account. I went through them and modernized the terms using the Message Bible and posted the Resolutions on My Business Blog in a Message entitled “Don’t Assume You know it All in 2011.
The Message Bible verse references are listed below this article.

Resolution 1- Let Love and Faithfulness Never Leave You
V 3-4
Resolution 2- Trust in The Lord with All Your Heart
V 5-6
Resolution 3- Do Not Be Wise in Your Own Eyes
7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
8 This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
Resolution 4- Honor The Lord With Your Wealth
9 Honour the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
This starts with tithing – God’s Law of harvest.
Resolution 5 Do Not Despise The Lord’s Discipline
11 My son, do not despise the LORD’s discipline and do not resent his rebuke,
12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Resolution 6. Search Diligently For Wisdom and Find it
V 13-24
1. Wisdom comes from INFORMATION
2. KNOW-HOW- Knowledge is a key component of Wisdom
Resolution 7- Have No Fear
25 Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26 for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.
Resolution 8- Do Not Withhold Good From Those Who Deserve It
27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
28 Do not say to your neighbor, “Come back later; I’ll give it tomorrow” — when you now have it with you.
Resolution 9- Do Not Plot Harm Against Your Neighbor
29 Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.
30 Do not accuse a man for no reason — when he has done you no harm.
Resolution 10 Do Not Envy a Violent Man or Choose His Ways
31 Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways,
32 for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence. inherit honour, but fools he holds up to shame.
1-2 Good friend, don’t forget all I’ve taught you; take to heart my commands.
They’ll help you live a long, long time,
a long life lived full and well.
3-4 Don’t lose your grip on Love and Loyalty.
Tie them around your neck; carve their initials on your heart.
Earn a reputation for living well
in God’s eyes and the eyes of the people.
5-6 Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
7 Don’t assume that you know it all.
Run to God! Run from evil!
8. Your body will glow with health,
your very bones will vibrate with life!
9-10 Honor God with everything you own;
give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst,
your wine vats will brim over.
11-12 But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline;
don’t sulk under his loving correction.
It’s the child he loves that God corrects;
a father’s delight is behind all this.
13-18 You’re blessed when you meet Lady Wisdom,
when you make friends with Madame Insight.
She’s worth far more than money in the bank;
her friendship is better than a big salary.
Her value exceeds all the trappings of wealth;
nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
With one hand she gives long life,
with the other she confers recognition.
Her manner is beautiful,
her life wonderfully complete.
She’s the very Tree of Life to those who embrace her.
Hold her tight—and be blessed!
19-20 With Lady Wisdom, God formed Earth;
with Madame Insight, he raised Heaven.
They knew when to signal rivers and springs to the surface,
and dew to descend from the night skies.
21-26 Dear friend, guard Clear Thinking and Common Sense with your life;
don’t for a minute lose sight of them.
They’ll keep your soul alive and well,
they’ll keep you fit and attractive.
You’ll travel safely,
you’ll neither tire nor trip.
You’ll take afternoon naps without a worry,
you’ll enjoy a good night’s sleep.
25-26 No need to panic over alarms or surprises,
or predictions that doomsday’s just around the corner,
Because God will be right there with you;
he’ll keep you safe and sound.
27-28 Never walk away from someone who deserves help;
your hand is God’s hand for that person.
Don’t tell your neighbor “Maybe some other time”
or “Try me tomorrow”
when the money’s right there in your pocket.
29-30 Don’t figure ways of taking advantage of your neighbor
when he’s sitting there trusting and unsuspecting.
Don’t walk around with a chip on your shoulder,
always spoiling for a fight.
31-32 Don’t try to be like those who shoulder their way through life.
Why be a bully?
“Why not?” you say. Because God can’t stand twisted souls.
It’s the straightforward who get his respect.
33-35 God’s curse blights the house of the wicked,
but he blesses the home of the righteous.
He gives proud skeptics a cold shoulder,
but if you’re down on your luck, he’s right there to help.
Wise living gets rewarded with honor;
stupid living gets the booby prize.
The following 12 rules for preachers are taken from John Telford’s The Life of John Wesley (Hodder & Stoughton, 1886), which is available online at the Wesley Center for Applied Theology at Northwest Nazarene University.
John Wesley (1703-1791) was one of the key leaders of the Evangelical Awakening in Britain during the mid-18th century.
Since so many people are setting goals at this time of the year I thought I’d share his rules or resolutions with you.
There’s a rule for each month of the year but you would be wise to start applying them all today…
1. Be diligent. Never be unemployed. Never be triflingly employed. Never while away time, nor spend more time at any place than is strictly necessary.
2. Be serious. Let your motto be, ‘Holiness to the Lord.’ Avoid all lightness, jesting, and foolish talking.
3. Converse sparingly and cautiously with women, particularly with young women.
4. Take no step towards marriage without solemn prayer to God and consulting with your brethren.
5. Believe evil of no one unless fully proved; take heed how you credit it. Put the best construction you can on everything. You know the judge is always supposed to be on the prisoner’s side.
6. Speak evil of no one, else your word, especially, would eat as doth a canker; keep your thoughts within your own breast till you come to the person concerned.
7. Tell every one what you think wrong in him, lovingly and plainly, and as soon as may be, else it will fester in your own heart. Make all haste to cast the fire out of your bosom.
8. Do not affect the gentleman. A preacher of the Gospel is the servant of alL
9. Be ashamed of nothing but sin; no, not of cleaning your own shoes when necessary.
10. Be punctual. Do everything exactly at the time. And do not mend our rules, but keep them, and that for conscience’ sake.
11. You have nothing to do but to save souls. Therefore spend and be spent in this work. And go always, not only to those who want you, but to those who want you most.
12. Act in all things, not according to your own will, but as a son in the Gospel, and in union with your brethren. As such, it is your part to employ your time as our rules direct: partly in preaching and visiting from i house to house, partly in reading, meditation, and prayer. Above all, if you labour with us in our Lord’s vineyard, it is needful you should do that part of the work which the Conference shall advise, at those times and places which they shall judge most for His glory.
If you like this timeless wisdom from the past, be sure and See Abraham Lincolns personal creed on my about page at GregNemer.com… It’s what I believe.
“Humility and patience are the surest proof of the increase of love.” -John Wesley, 1767

In my last article I shared with you Photos of Our Christmas Projects.
Today I have some great news and excellent photos to show you.
Although Our Christmas gift giving ministry here in Chiapas, Mexico is still not over we have handed out over 2200 small toys and git packages. Here’s a report:
San Juan Chamula is the center of a lot of anti-christian conflict. Many people have tried to minister there but can’t.
We can and did minister less than 10 minutes from the main plaza in the city of San Juan Chamula.
With over 300 kids in attendance we ministered with professional clowns, toys , candies and my daughter Cristi even sang 2 songs with her guitar.
Praise God for 30 or so (older) chamula kids who came to the Lord this day. Special thanks to Pastor Gullermo Jiminez for making this event possible.
This Chol community is very poor. We minister 3 services in less than 24 hours and handed out lots of gifts as you can see in the photos.
Calvario is located in the beautiful mountains near Yajalon Chiapas.
These Chol Indians are very loving and the youth even got involved in ministry here.
This is a very poor area. The people are from the Tzental Indian tribes and the children her are very poor. We shared the riches of Jesus love with them.
These are just some of the photos and we took many more…
You can see all of our photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/purposemission/
My family and I made a funny, but festive video for you.
That’s our dog, Joshua on lead vocal.
Hope you enjoy the video as much as we did when we made it…
You can make your own video by going to Funny eCards at JibJab. Risk FREE Trial!

Over the past few days we’ve been busy holding crusades in which we are giving small gift packages to need Indian Children.
We ministered with music, clowns, preaching and even cutting hair in these needy places.
This article will mostly include missions photos because a picture can tell a thousand words.
After driving an hour and a half on some pretty rough dirt roads we made it to this Tzotzil Indian comuuntiy tucked away in the mountains.
This community is special because a Catholic Pries and his Congregation all have given their lives over to the Lord. (Catholicism in Mexico is filled with Idolatry and witchcraft so it’s not the same as in the United States). The new believers are still meeting in the Catholic church building only they took out all the graven images.
I was particularly touched as I saw the small children playing soccer with a soccer ball made out of candy. They’d never seen a piece of candy like this and since it was wrapped in paper they didn’t know what it was. Some of the larger kids played with the real ball that we included in their gift package.
We met in the public park area of the community and had over 600 people attend the event. I preached the crusade and was also touched when an older gentleman, among many gave his life to the Lord.
This place is one of my personal projects since it’s one of the poorest places I visit and also one of the place making the most progess for the Lord.
We met in an adutorium and had 3 Churches attending in addition to the people of the community (around 500 people attended the event)
Although not a christian, the community leader let us use the auditorium at no cost and actually thanked me for the event once it was finished.
I’ll give you an update on San Juan Chamula a little later on plus I’ll have missions photos from Yajolon, Chiapas so if you haven’t signed up to get instant updates you’ll want to do so via the forms provided on this website.
You can view more missions photos at www.flickr.com/photos/purposemission/
This Christmas do something unique , unexpected and inspirational.
Our Christmas joy can be contagious.
Watch the following Inspirational “Hallelujah” Video to see a what I mean…
Jesus is the reason for the season!
I really like the word in the above video- hallelujah - It means to give praise to “Yah” or to God (Jesus)
Christmas is a special time of the year. In fact I wish everyday could be like Christmas…
Take advantage of this special time and do something unique and inspirational.
One of the ways to do this is by “giving”. Don’t just think “What Am I going to get”.
Rather consider how am I going to give and contribute to someone else life. (Just like the people in the video contributed their Christmas joy)
I’ve written a practical article called 25 Tips For Christmas Gift Giving.
You’ll benefit form it when you take the time to not only read, but apply the principles..
Hopefully, today, you’ll help you to inspire others. In fact here’s my challenge..
Go out and contribute, do something unexpected, spread the joy, sing hallelujah…
You’ll find that when you share the joy others will reciprocate.
