A Christmas Message

Greetings in the Lord Most High! Glory to God in the Highest! Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord!

I have a favorite Christmas card that I have saved from years ago and always display it each Christmas among our decorations. My mother gave me one of her treasured Christmas decorations this year – three porcelain wise men presenting their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. This card is proudly displayed behind them to remind my family of God’s many gifts to us-especially the gift of His Son to redeem us back to Himself.

The cover and verses on this card are like this:

“Through Him we can become what we were meant to be…

What a Gift we’ve been given! God loves us much that He took on our humanity, walked with us for a while, spoke and ate with us, touched, laughed, cried, and shared our joy. When he died and lived again and was lifted up, he did not leave us alone.

His comfort wraps us up; His Spirit lives in us.” “…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10

“ Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I AM!
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace, who brings good tidings of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, Your God reigns! the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.    Behold, My Servant shall deal wisely and shall prosper;  He shall be exalted and extolled and shall stand very high.” from Isaiah 52
Dear Lord, we praise You for Your Gift of Jesus Christ and all that it means to have the Immanuel, the Messiah as our Savior. Help us to stand in all that it means to embrace the fullness of what You have done for us and in Your Love for us. Amen
Wise men still seek Him.
In His Service,
Robbie Goodwin
