Very interesting stuff your talking about, too bad we wont know for sure if God is real is until we die.
Hi John,
Thanks for your interest.
What if I’m right and he is real?
I’m willing to take my chances, after all I have everything to gain and nothing to lose.
Greg
Greg, I would like to ask few questions from you,
1. Some religious leaders seem to tell us that we’re not smart enough or good enough to discover God on our own. Who says? => Which religious leader has ever said that? We’re not smart enough but we’ve got a lot of potential and it’s only upto us how we do it!
2. If God is good and perfect, why is there so much evil and suffering in the world? => God is good and perfect, just closely look what’s causing these sufferings in the world, our own actions. Global Warming is destructive but it’s human’s fault and earth itself didn’t start to give trouble. Just see each suffering and evil going on and you’ll yourself realize it. God has given us the ‘intellect’ and power to judge what is right and wrong and left the road ahead upto us.
3. How can anyone rely on the Bible for answers, if it’s just a loose translation of ancient myths anyway? => Over time people have no doubt tampered a lot with the divine message but still those who’re willing to get benefit by it, gets the divine code. It’s in the bible where Jesus says that keep knocking on the door, it’ll open once God sees that he’s knocking in search of me.
4. How can we trust religion if it has advocated slavery and the subjugation of women throughout history? => If you take a look with some other religious books and study them from a neutral point of view, you’ll find that Women were never degraded by God and they are created equal, and given the honor of being a mother so it’s only Men on earth who’ve degraded them because we like to overpower them who’re weak. Problem is with us Greg
Don’t blame God, he hates those men who hurt women. It’s considered a very huge sin.
Hi…
Thanks for sharing. Well, No one has seen or felt GOD. He is just in our faith. You never know whether he exists or not, but you have to trust his existence. Some of the religions look for personal interests rather than imparting spirituality.
There are an abundance lot of lies both inside and outside religion, and spirituality can be from good or evil sources, so one needs to be circumspect.
According to Bible prophecy, false Messiahs (plural) arise as this age draws to a close. These political and religious leaders seduce the unwary with good words and polished speeches, and later work great miracles, signs and wonders to deceive multitudes worldwide. Spiritual deception will dramatically increase, eventually so convincing it will be difficult to resist.
